Toulouse Highlights
From the pink-brick cathedral to the Garonne, discover the Ville Rose in one tight loop.
¿De qué trata el paseo?
Welcome to Toulouse, the Ville Rose, a city that blushes pink at every turn thanks to the rosy brick of its churches, palaces, and squares. On this walk we trace a tight, rewarding loop through the historic heart, from the delightfully mismatched Cathedrale Saint-Etienne to the lively cafes of Place Saint-Georges, the grand Place du Capitole, the aromatic Marche Victor Hugo, and the mighty Romanesque Basilique Saint-Sernin. We will wander past a Gothic convent, a venerated Black Madonna, and a dazzling Renaissance mansion before ending where the city looks its most beautiful, on the Pont Neuf above the Garonne at golden hour. Comfortable shoes and an appetite for both history and good food are all you need.
