About this place
The Small Gloriette echoes the grand pavilion on the hill but trades spectacle for intimacy. Its pale walls glow through leaves, especially in early morning and late afternoon. The pavilion once offered a pause for walkers and carriage rides seeking a gentler mood. Birds and breezes do most of the talking here and the sounds are soft. Vines and time have given the structure a storybook look without diminishing its grace. Finding it is half the pleasure and staying a moment completes the charm.
